Terms of Service

1. Service
AskHector provides concierge and property-assistance services on the Costa del Sol (Marbella, Fuengirola, Mijas, Benalmádena, Estepona). Services are sold as hour-based packages (Starter 10h, Standard 20h, Premium 30h).
2. Packages & hours
- Hours are tracked per task and logged against your account.
- Unused hours remain available for 12 months from purchase.
- Travel time to remote locations may count towards hours used — we'll always tell you upfront.
3. Payment
Payment is processed securely by Stripe at the time of purchase in euros (EUR). All prices include applicable Spanish VAT.
4. Refunds & cancellations
You have 14 days from purchase to request a full refund of an unused package under EU consumer law. A package is considered unused only if no tasks have been started and no work has been performed against it. Once any hours have been used or any task has begun, the package is no longer eligible for a refund. In that case, the remaining hours stay on your account and remain valid for 12 months. Bookings cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may still be charged the scheduled hours.
5. Scope of service
We assist with everyday tasks (check-ins, errands, paperwork support, meeting tradespeople, etc.). We do not provide legal, tax, medical or financial advice, and we don't carry out work that requires a licensed professional. We may refuse any request that's illegal, unsafe or outside our service area.
6. Liability
We carry out tasks with reasonable care. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the package in question. We're not liable for indirect losses or for the acts of third parties we coordinate on your behalf (tradespeople, couriers, etc.).
7. Confidentiality
We treat property access details, key codes and personal information as confidential and only share them with team members directly involved in delivering your service.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts of Málaga.
